Phil Joel Concert

Lindsey is a huge fan of Phil Joel....and so when he came to the small town of Klamath Falls, Oregon, there was no keeping her home. She has even made Sophie into a mini-fan! Sophie's favorite song is "Pink Elephants" which he didn't end up singing, much to her dismay! Paul and I went also, along with Dad and Mom! Hey, we're not too old to enjoy some rock music. And yes, I do believe there can be Christian Rock music. Phil Joel has a great testimony, which he took time to share. It is always encouraging to hear how God is working in the lives of His people!

Football

Well, our first home game...Without my other lens(which was in the lost camera bag)it's very hard to take game pictures. =( I am hoping there are other parents who have captured a little of Jordan in action! So...this small group is just after game pics.

Sophie and Brenna...wearing their spirit!

The teams stop to pray after the game.

Tyler and Jordan

U. George and A. Jan were here for the game.

Jordan gets his uniform top on Sophie.

Riley says, "C'mon Sophie...give me a hug!"

Sophie's First Day of School

Ok...it's homeschool and it's kindergarten, but we dressed up a little! Our principal (who shall remain unnamed) said that pajamas were strickly prohibited! But He didn't say anything about sweats! Sophie was so ready...consequently, Amie was too! But Daddy had other plans for the 2 of them that first morning!

Bye-bye!

At the end of the first week, we have ART. First art project was painting an apple. Miss Sophie is very precise. Amie got in on it too!

Tulelake Fair

Amie, who can't stand flies landing on her or near her, can't get past the ones on the pigs!

Sophie thinks they're pretty stinky!

Up close and personal with Mrs. Sheep!

Sophie's favorite pony ride!

Headed home!

First Football Game

The date...September 11th! Jordan's first game took place at the little logging town of Prospect. Beautiful drive but windy roads! Gordon and Bev went with us. Triad won...60 to 6. Jordan is number 2.

Here comes the Wolf Pack!

Flag at 1/2 staff.

Amie with U. Gordon.

Amie cheers, "Sack the Quarterback!"

Labor Day at Gold Beach

We spent Labor Day weekend with Tyler, Ana and Isaac, Randy, Bev and Jordan at the coast. We enjoyed time with family and the ever changing weather at the coast! This is a long string of pictures...I should learn to link to my gallery, I guess!

After a 5 hour car ride, the kiddos were very bouncy and ready to MOVE!

We awoke to pouring down rain...not so uncommon for the Oregon coast. Too windy and wet to cook on the cookstove outside, we decided to go out for breakfast.

Yurts are cool! Sleeps six.

Playing in the foam.

Amie did NOT like the foam on her feet!

Isaac...dear boy...loves the beach!

Sophie in her foam slippers!

Sophie is watching the waves with Ana and Isaac.

Running back to mom...she had toppled over in the water. (Travis, does this look familiar?)

Safe, high atop Dad's shoulder's!

Beautiful Sunset!

Beach is loaded with driftwood...enough to build a house!

Trying to capture the beauty of the rising moon!

DAY 2
Bring on the puddles!

BEautiful rainbow framed out yurts! Thank you for your promises, Lord!

I like this string of pics of Sophie, because she is not smiling her "put-on" smile for the camera....she's playing with her daddy!

Day 3
