Do you think Gma's a little cold?

Accidental naptime. She never drops off to sleep on purpose!

Who is that caped fellow? Secure, even in turquoise. =)

Kisses...!

He's a head taller! Always so noticeable in pictures!

Jordan...what can I say...I love you! This has been an awesome sport for you!

The end...of a long afternoon!

Love is in the air!

Now...other than watching them graze through our yard constantly, I have never witnessed the "mating rituals" of the deer. But this week, well I thought I was going to have to call the girls to the window for a nature lesson!

I don't know a whole lot, I think it has something to do with the female leaving her scent, and then the young buck walks to that spot and sniffs around, holding his nose at a funny angle.

I am not sure if the tail up is an invitation!

This was the next day, and a BIGGER buck was out...chasing anything without horns!

Friday...Frosting Cookies!

Sarah and kiddos, and Mom came over to frost a few Grandma's Sugar Cookies. They pretty much were a flop, as I sifted the flour this time, instead of just putting it in. And Mom thought maybe all butter, instead of 1/2 butter 1/2 margerine, accounted for some of my problem. So...they were thin, but we went ahead with it anyway. There was a lot of finger licking that occurred! But they had such fun. These cookies stayed with the family! Those that don't mind if our children licked their fingers while they were frosting!

The dough tasters!

Bring on the cookies!

Veteran's Day

An overcast, cool day, but well worth the trip downtown to watch the Veteran's Day parade. Thank you, Paul, Tyler, and Travis, and all our friends, whether we know you or not! Thank you for your service to our country...for your service benefits us all! Thank you for the sacrifices you have made, putting personal comforts aside to serve....giving of your time in other states and countries! May God's blessing be upon you as you continue on!

I would say she is Proud to be an American....but her response would be, "That's proudness, Mama, and that's a SIN!"
MY handsome husband and his baby!

If you enjoy your FREE SPEECH, thank a veteran!
