New Lyman....by Birth!

Phinneas James Lyman

 September 21, 2010

God's blessing of our second grandson

After receiving the news of Phinneas' birth just before midnight, went to bed praising God for the new gift of life, he has bestowed on Tyler, Ana, and Isaac, and in turn on us!

The next morning....

2 Grandsons...Thank you, Lord!

4 days later....before they head back to Corvallis.

I admit to being a baby hog....skipped dinner, just to hold this new little one!

Lyman...party of FOUR!

We love you!

New Lyman....by Marriage!

September started off with a wonderful celebration  of Travis and Jenny's wedding.  We are thrilled to have another daughter and member of the Lyman family.  May they grow in their love for one another and their love for God, as they have begun, with a family of two!

I see nothing...do you Amie?

Paul had the pleasure of marrying them!

Some of their in-air antics were like...WOW!

Side-swiped!

I think Sophie is quietly daring Amie to take a finger to it....and she would too!

Ana, Isaac and Tyler...shortly before Finn's arrival!

Faith, Rachel, Mom, Paul, Joel

We were blessed to have many family members come to town for the wedding....

Balsbaugh's and Lyman's!

We love you, Travis!

Good reading!

Some good things to think and pray on!

Hard work raising children!

Prayer always needed! and accepted!

You may even pause to listen to a couple songs she has going.

SelfLESSness

Today...May it about Christ, not about me.
Today...May I lift someone up, not drag them down.
Today...May I look at myself and the selfishness within before judging others.
Today...May I place another's troubles before my own.
Today...people are hungry, children are homeless-my own troubles are petty.
Today....before saying something unkind to someone, may I stop and think what they may be going through
Today...May I be Christ in the world
Today...May I stop thinking about myself.
Today...May I be selfless.

Do nothing out of selfishness or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.  Phillipians 2:3

Sounds like a verse and a daily sacrifice on the alter that will be ongoing for the rest of my life!

Early Morning

Lyman Invasion!

Travis and Jenny's wedding brought  housefuls of out-of-town family.  The pool was a fun, noisy place to put this bunch for several hours!  =}  Lots of fun!

Sophie and Islynn

U. Joel teaches Levi how to throw the sploosh ball through the rafters!

Swarms of 'em!

Sophie did NOT fly to the rafters!

Levi and Drake...cousins

Sophie and Joah

The kids had fun covering Levi in water!

The LONG Table!
