Corn Maze...Pumpkin Patch

It was a beautiful day in Klamath Falls, as we joined a homeschool group at the Corn Maze. Sophie, as you can tell, is into making funny faces when the camera comes on! Are we at this stage already? =) Fun stuff...she spent most of her time in the corn box...lots nicer than sand...wonder where I could get some! Went on a short hay ride...the guy's hitch broke, so it was back to the barn for him. Next field trip we are looking forward to....ice skating...mid November! But in the meantime, I am really liking these warm Fall days and cold nights!

It's Pum'kin Time

Friday night, we had the Tyler, Ana, and Isaac, Randy and Bev over for dinner...it was a great evening of planning for our upcoming trip to Newport for Thanksgiving, and watching the little ones color pumpkins. Thank you, Bev for the pumpkins! They had a great time!

Trip to the Nursery

Mom, Sophie and I drove out of town 30 miles, to a nursery with prices making it worth the drive. Could have picked a trailer full of plants, but we came back with enough for a flowerbed and a couple extra. Sophie's favorite was the Koi pond...didn't know those fish came in so many colors.





Back home...planting...Sophie's interested in the worm, but NOT interested in holding it!

Getting ready to deploy... going...going...gone! for 60 days.!

Travis left Friday, September 26, and will be spending the next 60 days in Qatar (pronounced cutter)
