He wasn't going very fast...20 mph? Some one stopped abruptly, 3 cars up...he ended up jumping off before his scooter slid under the car in front of him.

High thigh...He slid and hit the curb. This was a MONSTROUS hard goose egg! That got worse looking as the days went by!
