Legos

I decided to dump the Legos, sort them by color and size and see how many of the older kids sets we could put back together.  After all, they have littles of their own now, that might enjoy playing with their parents toys!  It was a long process, and I had used most big bowls and cookie sheets for sorting!  They spent a period of time covering the living room floor....then we moved up to the table!  I was amazed at how few pieces were missing after this many years!  I am finally done, and won't be playing Legos anytime soon.  At least not until I get the chance to play them with my Grandsons!
JP helps get started with a large set of Tyler's Spyrius
The techno couch,
for those not allowed or not interested in Legoing!

Travis' western bank robbers.
Has a spring loaded place, where the dynamite can be inserted
and "blows" a hole in the side of the building for a get away!
Travis' Ice planet
Jordan's first set.....
I missed a picture of his large set of the space shuttle and launch pad!
It was impressive!
Tyler's Spyrius robot....
Cool arms ratchet up and down.
A couple sets we had picked up from garage sales.
They belonged to no one in particular,
so they will stay in the home box
for the next Little Lymans to enjoy.

The Madness of March

Madness in terms of how fast it raced by!
Madness in weather....we had some swimsuit days,
and days frosted with snow.
Graycie doesn't mind standing in for the dolls!
She is rather compliant when it comes to staying where they put her!
Little girls have discovered the fun of Legos!
Gram is teaching her to sew blocks,
and iron the seams
Cat cuddles!
A cleaned off back counter....a place that has NOT been uncovered in a very long time!
Scrapbooking set up!
Now, if I would just get to it!
Beautiful moonlight and contrails lit by the setting sun!
A sad day.....
taking out a huge tree, one of the few we have and was really good for shade in our south facing yard.
BUT, the roots are growing into the septic lines.  Heavy sigh!  Though Paul had great fun with equipment from work!
Jordan reaches for his Hannah Girl!
Oh no!  Jordan, Jon, and Levi try it out!
Seeing how far it extends!
Watching Jordan and Paul cut away!
A week of swim lessons!
Amie has a hard time not smiling and getting a mouthful of water!
Sophie working on keeping her head down.
Off the diving board
Some of our frosty mornings!

9th Birthday!

Can't believe she is 9 already!  Her tastes are hovering between little girl, with some glances toward having older interests.  She is small in stature yet, but strong in spirit (stubborn).  She fiercely treasures family time and tradition!  A daddy snuggler.  We pray God will capture her heart early!  Thank you, God, for giving us the gift of Sophie!
Birthday Girl, Sophie

What birthday would be complete without Papa D reading his card!
Toilet bowl cleaner?
Guess it's time you learn to clean toilets!
Oh wait, you already know how!

Hanging with the Grandkiddos!

~February~
What can I say....these boys are a treasure!
First trip in a while up to Corvallis, since the business closed.  Paul and I went by ourselves just for some Grandpa and Grandma time with Isaac and Phinneas!  We had a change of plans, as Phinneas wasn't feeling good, and we just hung out together around town.
Starting with Donuts from a yummy place in Philomath!
They have the best Bavarian Creme I have had in a LONG time!
The boys enjoyed the colors of the town!
Just love Phinneas's style!
Cool points for individuality!
Though NOT up to feeling super, they still had sweet smiles!
SkippyjonJones!
Isaac helped Grandpa with a little of the spanish pronunciation!
(for reals)
Thanks boys! and Tyler and Ana!
For a wonderful day with you!
We were blessed!
