Celebrating Lindsey's birthday was a family affair. We even enjoyed the company of Grandma and Uncle Larry who were here for the evening. Lindsey's request for dinner was homemade spaghetti...Isaac really liked squishing the beans between his fingers! Wow! What a blessing God gave us when he gave us Lindsey. Not only is she beautiful on the outside, but more importantly, she is beautiful on the inside. Her heart for God is evident...she is quiet, but strong, a talented singer (that we don't hear enough of), artistic....
Lindsey, it has been a joy to watch you grow...and more recently, to step out of your comfort zone to accomplish things that are important...things you feel led to do. May God continue to be the light that leads your heart to countless blessings and fulfilled dreams.

Happy Birthday double-first cousin once removed.
I wish we have been around more to see ALL of you grow up.

Oh, and by the way, we have a friend here who has adopted two special needs boys from China after adopting to girls.
They said they would love to be a resource for you if you're interested. I guess with four adoptions they've got some good ideas on how some things work better, etc. They also said there was a great deal of difference between all the procedures that had to happen with a double cleft and single cleft pallatte.
Let me know if you want their e-mail.
Their blog is here:

God Bless!
