Sister Time

So...the FIRST day was pretty interesting. They scrapped at each other like sisters! Sophie was just wanting to be so overly affectionate and motherly to her BABY (not-so-baby!) sister,...giving her hugs and kisses and direction! And Amie would have none of that. And mama's lap was another place to vie for...

But, we made it through, and each day gets better. Sophie is learning to give Amie space a little space...a quick kiss on the cheek and be done with it. Amie is coming along side Sophie and taking her hand to go play with her on the bottom stair landing. They are so cute when they wake up and are talking to/playing with each other. Amie is a lightweight when it comes to sleeping...cries a lot in the night. So thankfully, Sophie is a heavy sleeper.
